Winter Retreat 2025

This was a rejuvenating gathering for our community, as it was set against a picturesque backdrop of snow and ice-covered lake.  And we each enjoyed a variety of engaging activities. The meals served throughout the retreat were nothing short of exceptional. Each meal featured a diverse array of dishes that catered to all tastes and showcased excellent culinary talents. 

It was so wonderful to gather together in a bastion of faith that was thoughtfully crafted to rejuvenate our spirits and inspire us to perceive the world through the lens of Jesus. Throughout our time together, we engaged in meaningful discussions, prayers, and activities designed to strengthen our connections with one another and deepen our relationship with God. We did this together, reflecting on different devotions and examples. We contemplated a perspective that allows us to see others as He sees them—imbued with love, compassion, and understanding. This is not just a retreat but an opportunity to encourage us to carry a new perspective into our everyday lives.

We are especially thankful for the generous contributions from our gracious sponsor family, whose support made this memorable experience possible. Their kindness and commitment to our community truly enhanced the warmth and togetherness of being together; it was koinonia at its fullest.
